    Fangyou Belleli’s work is built through the accumulation of gestures made under extreme temporal constraints. Her practice is rooted first in drawing from life, where strict time limits — five minutes, ten minutes, sometimes less than three — eliminate any hesitation. The line must emerge immediately, relying on bodily memory rather than correction.
