Pascal – Sailing Through Colour
Acrylic on Kraft paper, 200cm x 100cm
Saint Germain Des Près Studio
Created during the opening moments of a live painting session, Sailing Through Colour follows the slow movement of Pascal as he drifts through space.
Rather than capturing a fixed pose, the painting traces a succession of gestures, rhythms, and directional forces. Layers of colour overlap like currents of air and water, recording movement before it settles into form.
Fragments of the figure appear and disappear within the painted surface, suspended between presence and abstraction. The body becomes less an object to observe than a source of energy moving through space.
What remains is not the image of a model, but the memory of motion itself—a visual echo of time unfolding through colour.
